...Until One Day..

This series explores the popularity of apocalypse fantasies. Respondents are queried: "How do you hope the world will end?" Their response is re-interpreted by the artist in the form of animation. These animated "apocalypse portraits" are then shot frame-by-frame with the respondent, face cropped off the screen, holding each frame of the animation loop. This whimsically morose "anthropological study" investigates the complex and unstable conflux of tragedy and fantasy.
