Her projects span experimental animation, live action, and hybrid forms. Her animation work has appeared in the television series Transparent and in KCET’s Lost LA, where she received an LA Area Emmy Award for segment direction. Her short film The Golden Chain, created in collaboration with award-winning graphic novelist Ezra Claytan Daniels, is in the permanent collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Bodunrin’s work has been presented at major festivals and institutions including SXSW, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Ann Arbor Film Festival, Uppsala International Short Film Festival, Images Festival, Anthology Film Archives, the British Film Institute, REDCAT, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Festival Animator, and the Black Cinema House.
